House Rules
RENTAL RULES
1. Cherry Street Cottage is on a septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper (EVEN disposable wipes). No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $250.00.
2. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
3. People other than those in the guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to above.
4. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00p.m. – 8:00a.m. Owners have the right to immediately evict if the renters are causing major disruptions past 10:00 PM.
5. The maximum capacity is 10. This rental will not be for large parties over said occupancy without prior approval. Guests violating this will be subject to immediate removal and no refund of rental fees.
6. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Guests are to exercise caution around the outdoor fire pit in the backyard.

9. Pets are NOT allowed at Cherry Street Cottage.
10.Parking is only allowed on the property on the driveway or in front of the house. Please do not park in the yard, in the front yard or in front of a neighbor's house
11. There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Upon departure, please leave used towels in the shower or bathtub and used linens on top of the bed for which those were used.
12. Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle, located in front of the garage.
13. The only acceptable place for a fire is in the fire pit.
14. Term of Lease. This lease begins at 4 PM on the check in date and ends at 11 AM on the check out date.
15. Payment. Guest shall pay to Homeowner a 50 percent deposit when reserving the home and must pay the remaining balance thirty days before the reservation date. Final payments not received thirty days before the reserved date, will lose the reservation and the deposit.
16. Condition of Property. Guest shall leave the property in good condition. Dishes need to be washed and put away. No items should be left in the refrigerator or freezer. All trash should be placed in the garbage can on the side of the property. Upon checking in, guest must report to the homeowner any serious damage that has been seen (not traditional wear and tear).
17.Repair of Property. Homeowner may enter the premises at all reasonable times in order to inspect the property or make repairs.
18. Please treat this property as you would your own home. We have a lot of love invested into this home and hope you make wonderful memories here.
